Frequently asked questions
How much does a heat pump cost?
The price depends on the type and power of the unit, the size of the building and the existing heating system. That is why we do not quote prices in advance; after the visit you receive a written quote.
Is a heat pump suitable for an older house?
Often yes, but it depends on insulation, the type of heating (radiators or underfloor) and the water temperature needed. We assess this during the visit.
How long does installation take?
Usually a few days, depending on the type of unit and the preparation needed. The expected time is stated in the quote.
How often does a heat pump need servicing?
Manufacturers usually recommend a check once a year. The exact interval is in your unit's manual. Regular servicing can also be a condition of the warranty, so check your warranty terms.
What does the annual service include?
A check of operating parameters, cleaning of accessible parts, a check of electrical and safety components and, where required, a refrigerant circuit leak check. You receive a record of the work afterwards.
My unit shows an error. What should I do?
Note the error code on the display and call us. We can often tell by phone whether it is urgent. Please do not open the unit yourself.

Yes, we help prepare the documents. Eko sklad decides on the incentive, so we cannot promise approval or an amount. Check the conditions in the current public call.
Is a heat pump noisy?
Modern units are usually quiet, but the noise level depends on the model and the position of the outdoor unit. During the visit we choose a spot that disturbs you and your neighbours least.
Do you service units you did not install?
In most cases yes. Tell us the brand and model; if we cannot service the unit, we will tell you when you first get in touch.
